
Synopsis
Émile, a young man, returns to his grandfather’s home in the western countryside for the winter holidays. One evening, as per tradition, he joins his grandfather for a hunting trip - unaware that this night will bring a strange and unsettling encounter with
a mysterious owl.This eerie experience marks the beginning of Émile’s initiation into the art of hunting, guided by his grandfather, a seasoned woodsman devoted to preserving both ancestral customs and the sacred forest. Through his eyes, Émile discovers a hidden world where nature, ritual, and ancient knowledge intertwine.

About
Born on December 15, 1995, in Agnibilékrou, Yao N’Doko Delphine Victorine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Production for TV and Cinema. She began her career with small film sets shortly after completing a documentary project during
her studies. In 2018, she completed an internship in directing on the feature film Desrances by Apolline Traoré. Passionate about filmmaking, she has pursued several training programs in cinema, the most recent being Les Elles du Cinéma in 2024. Her first directorial work, the short film Le Masque, caught the attention of producer , who hired her in 2019 as script supervisor and assistant director on the series Ici c’est Babi. The following year, she worked as script supervisor on three episodes of Les Coups de la Vie. In 2021, she joined the original Canal+ series Eki (seasons 1 and 2) as casting assistant and third assistant director. After three years as production manager at a local production company, she transitioned to freelance work as an assistant director. She also served as production manager on the short film Miwa 2014, while fulfilling roles as producer and director.
More recently, she worked as auxiliary and then second assistant director on Philippe Lacôte’s series Clash. Currently, she is enrolled in the Pan-African Producers Program organized by the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) and the ESAV in Marrakech
